REBECCA TAYLOR

Rebecca Taylor showed her Spring 2011 collection in New York last September, but I only just discovered it now and I LOVE it. I've always thought she designs beautiful clothes (and I love a good story of a kiwi making it big in international fashion, but this collection is probably the best to date, in my opinion, because she tapped into one of my favourite decades-the 70s. She had Ali MacGraw and the seventies perfume dream girl, Charlie on her mind. High waisted denim flares,silk blouses and chiffon made into pleated skirts and bomber jackets. And the hair! I love an effortless top knot. Perfection all round, and the colours have made me miss summer...
