Early on Sunday morning (9am on a Sunday is pretty early for me) we headed out to Muriwai beach in West Auckland. It was the most amazing way to start a Sunday. The air was a bit choppy, and although we could feel that winter was on it's way, the clouds quickly cleared to reveal brilliant sunshine and a warm breeze. The dedicated surfers were out in force and we enjoyed coffee from the Sand Dunz cafe. It was actually the most divine way to end the weekend.
